To make the Britain Needs A Pay Rise march as safe as possible we are organising volunteer stewards to help out. It’s an important role that will make a big difference to many marchers on the day.
Most stewards are being recruited through the TUC’s member unions, and if you’d like to join a section of the march with other members of your union, get in touch with your union head office to find out how to join in.
The TUC is also organising groups of Senior Stewards, who will work in small teams at different locations around the route of the march, helping with any problems marchers might have, giving directions and keeping things moving smoothly.
If you would like to play your part in making 18 October a day to remember and volunteer to be a Senior Steward too, we’d love to hear from you. Please let us have your details here and we’ll be in touch.
Please note that you will need to be available at 8.30am on the day of March and complete the online stewards eNote
Training eNote for Stewards
The TUC has prepared an online briefing eNote for stewards, giving you the key information you’ll need for the day.
