Coaches for the TUC demonstration cannot drop off or pick-up passengers in Central London as there is both insufficient parking and a strong risk of grid lock caused by coach congestion.
Coaches are therefore parking on one of three coach parks organised by the TUC. This will mean people will need to use public transport between the coach park and the demonstration. While this will make the journey more complicated, it is likely to be quicker as you can travel much more quickly through central London by tube than by coach.

Wembley Park tube station is a short and easy walk from Wembley coach park. Here is a link to a Google map: https://goo.gl/maps/cLpMx
At Wembley Park marchers who do not have Oyster cards can now use contactless credit and debit cards to pass through ticket barriers. This method will ensure that you are charged for the cheapest ticket option. Then you can either:
- get the Jubilee line straight to Southwark to join the start of the march. Both Wembley Park and Southwark have step free access. This is the easiest route and therefore recommended.
- Use the Metropolitan line as this has fast trains to Baker Street but you will then need to change to either the Jubilee line to Southwark or the Bakerloo line to Waterloo (which is further from the Blackfriars assembly area).
To join the march
- From Southwark station turn left along Blackfriars Road and cross Blackfriars Bridge.
- From Waterloo station you also need to cross Blackfriars Bridge. This is best reached along Stamford Street.

Getting back to Wembley
Marchers will need to return to Wembley Park tube.
The easiest way is to get the Jubilee line from Green Park. This means leaving from the south of the park (the entrance by which marchers come into the Park) and walking back up Piccadilly. Both Green Park and Wembley Park have step-free access.
Jubilee Line trains do not stop at Bond Street at the moment due to works, even though this would normally be the best way back to Wembley.
It is also possible to walk to Baker Street to get the fast Metropolitan line, direct to Wembley Park, though this is a longer walk and not shown on the map.
You can see Baker Street on this Google map. https://goo.gl/maps/IVJfk
