NHS workers need a pay rise

NHS staff across the country are spreading the word about why they feel the government’s pay offer is so unfair.

They’ve already had years of pay freezes and caps during the recession, which have seen wages for people working in the health service fall significantly against inflation. This year, the government are rejecting an independently advised pay settlement, and offering 1%, again behind inflation, and this time with so many strings attached that most won’t even get that.

We think NHS workers deserve fair pay, just as millions of others across the UK are missing out on a fair share of the recovery.

If you agree, march with us in London on 18 October, to tell our politicians that Britain Needs A Payrise.
